The Tánaiste Simon Coveney has confirmed health interviews will take place at Irish airports.
In an announcement the Tánaiste said interviews will take place at all airports following the spread of the Coronavirus.
He also said that people arriving into the country will be given advice about the virus once they arrive.
Although the Tánaiste said it would be impossible to stop air travel, he did advise that people should not travel to Italy or Spain.
He added that there will be far less people travelling to the country following the outbreak.
