Tánaiste slams concerned Irish citizens protesting migration plantation in Co. Clare but basically gets completely ignored

Tánaiste Micheál Martin has spoken out against concerned Irish citizens in Co. Clare rallying to defend the safety of their community and blockading a road leading to Magowna House in Inch which has been set up as a migrant plantation.

The Tánaiste commented on the situation where locals organised protests against he migrant plantations and some used tractors to blockade the roads around Magowna House saying:

“We will engage with the local people community to ease any concerns they might have, and also to facilitate the hosting and the housing of these particularly asylum seekers.

“I would ask that that level of engagement and cooperation would take place, and that that there’s no need for the blockades.”

The comments have done little if anything to allay the fears and anger of the indigenous people of Clare who are also planning further protests, including at the Clare County Council Headquarters in Ennis.

Viral footage of migrant violence in places such as Killarney, East Wall, Courtown and most recently in Pearse Street, where the local community had to take it upon themselves to drive out an illegal encampment of unvetted migrant males, has helped galvanise even greater resistance to the migrant plantation agenda.
