The Taoiseach Michael Martin has criticised Independent TD Mattie McGrath for his the use of his language within the Dail which compares the Government to Nazis.
In a heated debate this afternoon Martin called on McGrath to stop using such language as it is upsetting to people.
The Taoiseach claimed that McGrath is constantly using such phrases as Nazis and totalitarianism which are offensive.
It is understood that the Taoiseach’s comments come after McGrath described the Government’s plans for the reopening of indoor hospitality as unworkable and similar to those which were implemented in Nazi Germany.
