The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has confirmed that the Covid-19 pandemic payment will continue for a number of months rather than weeks.
Speaking to the Dail earlier today, the Taoiseach confirmed that the payment will be paid in full for full time employees who are unable to work due to Covid-19 for the foreseeable future.
However he did state that part time workers will see their payment cut in the coming weeks ahead.
Although the Taoiseach didn’t state how much part time workers will see their payment cut to, he did reiterate that they will still receive more than what they were earning before the outbreak began.
