Taoiseach insists that he ‘can’t rule out further restrictions’ before Christmas

As the government and NPHET continue to push out the booster campaign, nothing has been ruled off the table this side of Christmas or the New Year.

Taoiseach appointee Micheal Martin has insisted that he ‘can’t rule out further restrictions’ before Christmas.

Mr. Martin also said that he’s ‘concerned’ about the new coronavirus variant.

Nevertheless, he remains ‘hopeful’ about the coming year, in terms of the pandemic.

The vaccination program has failed spectacularly in Ireland, particularly when it comes to the first in a likely long series of boosters, as people are simply not turning up to get jabbed anymore.
