The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has announced plans that will see further jobs created outside of the capital over the coming years ahead.
Mr Varadkar who was speaking on Twitter over the weekend said he hoped that further jobs will be created after the recent appointment of Heather Humphreys as the new Minister for Business and Enterprise.
The Taoiseach’s announcement comes as Ms Humphreys appointment makes her the first TD outside of Dublin to take the position in over seven years.
Mr Varadkar said he has full confidence in Ms Humphreys abilities and believes she will help boost job prospects over the coming years by creating thousands of jobs across the entire island of Ireland.
