The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said the country will see another significant milestone in the fight against Covid-19 as 330,000 vaccine doses will be administered this week.
Speaking about the roll-out the Taoiseach said that the country will also reach the 3.5m dose mark by the end of the week.
Martin also praised vaccine staff for their extraordinary efforts as case numbers continue to decline in age cohorts that have already received a vaccine.
He added that there is now only 2% of cases reported in the over 65s.
