The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said that the roll-out of a Covid-19 vaccine is at the top of the Government’s list and it is a matter of national priority.
Speaking in the Dail on Wednesday, Martin said that the vaccine by Pfizer and BioNtech will have an Eurpean Medicines Agency assessment by December 29th.
The Taoiseach who was responding to questions from Labour party leader Alan Kelly, said that a taskforce has been setup and they will keep on top of everything in regards to any potential roll-out.
He added that there was a lot of work to get through and the roll-out of a vaccine is at the very top of the Government’s list.
