The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said that restaurants will most likely be closed for New Year’s as the country looks set to go into Level 3 Plus.
Speaking on Friday, the Taoiseach said that we can have a meaningful Christmas, but restrictions are looking set to be implemented by New Year’s Eve.
The Taoiseach said that the Government and NPHET have become concerned about the rise in Covid-19 cases.
He said that it will be most likely that the country will be placed in Level 3 Plus restrictions in January.
