The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said that vaccine passports could be needed in the future if a person wishes to go on holiday or attend an event.
Speaking to Virgin Media News,the Taoiseach said that people could need some sort of Certificate to say they got the vaccine
Although the Taoiseach said nothing is being considered at the moment, he said some of Certificate could be important just as people are required to have a negative PCR test to enter the country today.
He added that there is still a long way to go before we get to that stage and reiterated that we have to take one step at a time.
