The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has reportedly told party members that the current Covid-19 restrictions will last into February.
According to RTE News, the Taoiseach told party members at a parliamentary meeting on Wednesday evening that the current Covid-19 case numbers are too high and therefore restrictions will continue.
It is reported that Martin said that the Government will continue to follow guidance from the National Public Health Emergency Team and warned that there is still a long way to go in the fight against the virus.
