The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has confirmed that he will meet with party leaders today to discuss Level 5 restriction recommendations.
Speaking from Brussels this on Friday, the Taoiseach said that the National Public Health Emergency Team’s is being given detailed consideration.
The Taoiseach who said the current situation is serious also confirmed that he will meet with the Ministers for Finance, Health and Public Expenditure.
It is understood that the Taoiseach’s decision comes after representatives from his office met with the National Public Health Emergency Team on Friday morning.
