The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said that he and the Government know that people are fed up, but he stopped short on giving any information on what will happen on April 5th.
Speaking in Cork today, Martin said that there are still strong concerns over the number of Covid-19 variants circulating in the country.
Martin who said that those variants are more transmissible and significantly more deadly.
He added that he wouldn’t speculate on what will change from the beginning of next month, but reiterated that clear and accurate information will be given in the lead up to April 5th.
