The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said that the country must not let its guard down in the fight against Covid-19.
Speaking on Thursday, the Taoiseach said that he understands that the public is under huge pressure but reiterated that we mustn’t let our guard down.
Martin said there is a reason to stay hopeful and called for solidarity.
He added that we must protect the vulnerable as well as our mental health during this difficult period ahead.
