Taxi driver avoids prison after dislocating the shoulder of the man who clamped his car at Dublin Airport

A taxi driver was given a suspended sentence for dislocating a man’s shoulder after he clamped his vehicle, reports The Mirror.

Feliks Andrianov, 54, of Corduff Green, Blanchardstown, Dublin, was found guilty on July 5, 2019, following a trial for assault causing hurt at the McDonald’s restaurant at Dublin Airport, according to the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. He has never been convicted before.

Andrianov defended himself at the sentencing hearing after firing his legal team following his trial. He was remanded into detention for two hours at a prior hearing after yelling at Judge Elma Sheahan. Upon his return to the courtroom, the judge asked him if he wanted to look for a new legal team or continue representing himself, reports The Mirror.

After a trial for assault causing hurt, the accused was found guilty, according to Judge Elma Sheahan. According to her, the gravity of the offence was the aggravating element in this instance. According to Judge Sheahan, Andrianov’s prior excellent reputation, his cooperation with the Gardaí, his lengthy work experience in Ireland, and the support of his family were all mitigating considerations.

According to the court, this was a unique situation, and Andrianov had opposed it because he thought the body cam and CCTV evidence had been altered. Additionally, he rejected the jury’s decision. Judge Sheahan gave Andrivanov an 18-month jail term with an 18-month complete suspension, reports The Mirror.

The Garda On July 5, 2019, at 7 a.m., Paul Murphy informed prosecutor Derek Cooney BL that Michael Norris started working as a security guard. He was employed at the McDonald’s across from the Dublin Airport. Mr. Norris was told to clamp it if he witnessed someone park their car and leave the area.

Norris told the court that he seen a taxi driver park his vehicle and depart the area to travel to Circle K just after 7.30am on the date in question. There were signs all over the place warning that automobiles parked here will be punished. Norris then clamped the vehicle, reports The Mirror.
