A teacher in the United States has been sentences to 50 years in prison for repeatedly sodomising a 7-year-old boy and then trying to kill the child and his mother.
Deonte Taylor (39) was sentenced to “15 years each for three counts of first-degree statutory sodomy,” according to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office but this was increased by five years when it was revealed he knowingly exposed to the boy to AIDS.
The crimes reportedly occurred on November 13, 2015, in his Lusher Elementary School office. Investigators found his DNA on the boy and in his underwear, Headline USA reported.
Taylor had also attempted to hire a hitman to murder the boy and his mother in order to cover up his crimes but a man he paid $20,000 to carry out the killings instead went police and revealed the plot.
