A teachers union is recommending a ‘delayed and staggered’ return to schools this week.
The Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland (ASTI) is saying that a full reopening of schools poses an ‘unacceptable risk.’
There currently are no plans to delay the reopening of schools this week, but the Coalition leaders are meeting this week to discuss the ongoing pandemic situation.
