A 19-year-old teenager has been arrested and charged, after he used his truck to run over and kill twenty kangaroos.
The incident happened last Saturday night in Tura Beach, a small rural area in the far south east coast of Australia.
Local residents woke up to the sight of dead kangaroo bodies on their front lawns, prompting shock and outrage.
The teenager’s motivations for the killings remain unclear.
