In a tragic accident a teenager has died in the UK after he jumped into a freezing reservoir after losing a game he played with his friends.
According to the Metro, 16-year-old Sam Haycock was celebrating the end of term and “egging” each other on. Sam, who had recently been diagnosed with autism and complex needs, joined in with a game of rock-paper-scissors to see who would have to jump in.
When Sam lost the game, he jumped into the reservoir but got into difficulties because he wasn’t a good swimmer. One of his friends jumped in to try to help him and some other people on the scene tried to get to him but unfortunately even the emergency services couldn’t save him.
