A 15-year-old boy has been killed and four other youngsters have been hospitalized as a result of an overnight car crash in Clondalkin, Dublin.
The boy was a passenger in a car that mounted the pavement and collided with a tree on Station Road, Dublin 22, at around 10pm last night.
The rest of the occupants, who were all aged between 14-16, suffered non life threatening injuries and were taken to Crumlin and Tallaght hospitals.
The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
