A teenager sustained serious stabbing wounds during a fight in Portmanrock, Dublin, on Friday night.
It is understood that a fight broke out between two groups of youths at Portmanrock beach.
The victim is in Beaumont Hospital, where his injuries are described as not life-threatening.
