A teenager who got into difficulties while swimming at a lake in Co. Monaghan has passed away in hospital.
The 14-year-old was pulled from the water at Hollywood lake in the county and rushed to Temple Street Children’s hospital, where he died on Monday.
Gardai are treating the event as a tragic accident.
