A group of teenagers behind the disgusting attack that saw a disabled woman covered in flour and eggs, have reportedly requested police protection following the incident.

According to The Daily Mail newspaper, the group of teens asked for police protection after they received a number of death threats online.

The request which has been submitted to Suffolk police comes after the teenagers appeared in photograph which was posted on social media showing the woman covered in eggs and flour.

It is believed the four males who have since been arrested and released on bail in connection with the incident covered the woman in flour before pelting her with eggs in what was considered a prank.

However the teenagers have since been condemned for their actions after the photograph appeared online showing them posing next to the woman who is understood to have mental health issues, at a park in Bury St Edmunds last Friday.

The Daily Mail say the boys have received a number of threats since the incident and their parents who have also condemned their actions have become concerned for their children’s safety.

Although the woman didn’t recieve any serious injuries in the attack, it is believed she was treated for shock following the incident.
