Temperatures are expected soar with highs of 25C excepted in a glorious start to the week!

It was a pretty wet and miserable weekend for most of the country this past weekend which dampened our summer spirits, but if you were thinking you have seen the last of summer you may be mistaken as temperatures are expected to soar today.

According to Met Éireann, Ireland is set to experience highs of 25C later today and tomorrow as Ireland gets another blast of summer.

Although some patchy drizzle is expected in Western areas early, Met Eireann say today will be dry and sunny day with temperatures expected to range between 20 to 25C.

The outlook for Tuesday is looking promising as the country is expected to see more of the same as sunny spells and temperatures ranging from 20 to 25C are expected.

However Wednesday will be slightly cooler with highs of 19 to 22C, whilst it will be cloudier day with some heavy showers expected in Eastern areas later in the day.
