Tens of thousands of turkeys to be culled following second outbreak of bird flu in the UK

Tens of thousands of turkeys are to be culled following a second outbreak of bird flu in the UK.

No fewer than 30,000 birds will be lost following an outbreak of the H5N8 strain virus at a farm in Snetterton, Norfolk.

This is the second confirmed outbreak of the disease in the UK, following the discovery of bird flu at a farm in North Yorkshire in late November.
