Tensions between the US and North Korea rising as Trump warns Pyongyang that the US military is ‘locked and loaded’ and ready to attack, should North Korea ‘act unwisely’

The US President Donald Trump has fired yet another warning shot to North Korea today after he posted a tweet warning the country’s government that the US military is “locked and loaded” to deal with North Korea and their attempts to fire missiles near the US territory of Guam.

President Trump who said earlier this week that he and his government were ready to rain “fire and fury” on Pyongyang over the ongoing issue , said US “Military solutions are now fully in place, locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely.”

The newly installed president also said he hoped Kim Jong-un “will find another path!.”

North Korea has announced plans to fire missiles near the US territory of Guam. The ongoing war of words between the two nations comes after North Korea announced plans to launch missiles near the US territory in the South Pacific,.

The latest revelation by the US president has not gone unnoticed however as the Russian, Chinese and German governments have said the exchange of threats are very worrying.

Reports in Russia have circulated in the past few hours which state that officials in Moscow have become very concerned as the row between Washington and Pyongyang  has seemingly spiraled out of control.

Speaking about the ongoing conflict Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claimed the risk of military conflict between both the US and North Korea is “very high”.

The Russian Minister also said that his Government have already put forward a joint Russian-Chinese plan to defuse the crisis.

Meanwhile German Chancellor Angela Merkel said there was no military solution, and “an escalation of the rhetoric is the wrong answer.”

Although China have yet to comment on Trump’s latest message, the Chinese Government have previously stated they will intervene if both the US and North Korea cannot resolve their issues peacefully.
