
On the opening day of his trial at Liverpool Crown Court, a teenager entered a guilty plea to killing three young girls in a knife assault at a dance lesson in Southport with a Taylor Swift theme last July, reports RTE.
Nine-yr-old Alice da Silva Aguiar, six-year-old Bebe King, and seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe were killed on July 29 during an attack at a dance class with a Taylor Swift theme at The Hart Space. Axel Rudakubana, 18, of Banks, Lancashire, was charged with their murders.
In addition, he entered a guilty plea to the attempted murders of 10 other individuals, including businessman John Hayes, class instructor Leanne Lucas, and eight youngsters who cannot be identified for legal reasons, reports RTE.
Rudakubana was attacked when he was seventeen years old.
He admitted to carrying a kitchen knife in a public setting, reports RTE.
In addition, he acknowledged producing ricin, a biological poison, and having a PDF file called Military Studies in the Jihad against Tyrants: The Al-Qaeda Training Manual that may be helpful to someone planning or carrying out a terrorist operation, reports RTE.
