The former Governor of California and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger is reportedly recovering in hospital after receiving open heart surgery.

According to the popular entertainment website TMZ, Schwarzenegger is currently in a stable condition in Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA.
It is believed the Terminator star was admitted on Thursday for a catheter valve replacement – but developed complications whilst under anesthesia.
TMZ say the actor then went under open-heart surgery for several hours following a medical decision made by his doctors.
Meanwhile a spokesperson for actor told the Los Angeles Times that the original procedure was carried out to repair a “congenital condition that’s existed in his family.”
