Terry Jones, founding member of Monty Python, passes away aged 77




Terry Jones, one of the founding members of the world-renowned comedy group Monty Python, has passed away aged 77.

Jones directed the controversial (but hugely successful) film Life of Brian and many of Monty Python’s other movies and sketches, and also directed a number of TV documentaries.

He had been diagnosed with a rare form of dementia back in 2015.

Terry Jones passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, surrounded by his family.
