A Tesco branch was forced to temporarily close after what witnesses described as ‘animal-like’ behaviour by a number of shoppers.
The incident happened in the Clearwater Shopping Center in Finglas, Dublin , in recent days.
Witnesses said that some shoppers stormed the clothing session, grabbed items from the racks, and began trying them on in the aisles, with no consideration given to social distancing or the welfare of other customers.
The branch was closed for a time but has since reopened.
