Ireland’s ever-growing driving test backlog now stretches to 25 weeks, according to a driving instructor.
It is understood that there are no fewer than 120,000 people registered to take the driving theory test.
A pilot online version of the test will be launched in the near future in an effort to reduce the massive backlog.
