Pope Francis has embarked on his journey back to Rome after a very successful World Meeting of Families.
The popular Pontiff arrived in Dublin airport around 6:10pm to get onto the St. Aidan Aer Lingus plane.
He was flown to Knock this morning for a reception in front of up to 45,000 people before returning to Dublin for a Mass in the Phoenix Park where up to 500,000 people attended.
