The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has seemingly gotten his wish for more Twitter mentions but not in a way that he would have hoped as the Fianna Fail TD mistakenly claimed there were 31 days in the month June.
In a gaffe that has not gone unnoticed, the Minister for Health made the claim whilst speaking about the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out on Newstalk.
Speaking about the roll-out Donnelly told Newstalk Breakfast that there was nothing magic about the 31st June as we will still be issuing vaccines in July.
However despite his confidence in the Government reaching its vaccination targets, it seems the date of the 31st of June garnered the most attention on social media with many quick to point out that there are only 30 days in the month.
