On Fifth Avenue at 10am yesterday, Joan Rivers’ funeral took place.
Celebrities including Donald Trump, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne and Hugh Jackman filled the jam-packed synagogue.
“A service of laughter and tears” was how the funeral was described, with her daughter Melissa reading a letter she had written her mother quite recently, and DJ Howard Stern telling the congregation of how Joan had even joked that Michelle Obama was a “tranny”. Nothing was off limits.
A massive crowd of fans and paparazzi waited outside and escorted the infamous comedian to her resting place.
