Local police in the Spanish town of Huesca were forced to intervene after a large contingent of sheep ran riot around the streets of their beloved town.
Astounded locals contacted the authorities after spotting a large herd of ruminants in their doorsteps at around 4:30am local time this morning.
Police forces eventually managed to round up all the animals and tracked down their shepherd, who is understood to have been soundly asleep as the drama unfolded.
