The Trump Man has reportedly withdrawn his application to build a 2.8km sea wall to protect his golf links at Doonbeg, Co. Clare.
A spokesman for Clare County Council said: “(The Council) had looked for further information at the end of June. They had until the end of the month to reply.”
Mr. Trump had met with fierce opposition from locals in relation to the wall.
He reportedly paid about €15million for Doonbeg, and had vowed to invest €45million on the resort.
Plans for the Great Wall of Mexico remain afoot, however.
