The first Taco Bell restaurant is coming to Ireland

Applegreen has announced that it will launch Ireland’s first Taco Bell restaurant through a newly signed partnership with the US-based fast food chain, reports Breaking News.

The first outlet is set to open this summer, with further Taco Bell branches planned at multiple Applegreen locations across Ireland over the next five years.

Headquartered in Irvine, California, Taco Bell operates more than 8,700 restaurants around the globe, reports Breaking News.

Applegreen has already introduced Taco Bell outlets at several Welcome Break motorway service stations in the UK.

Bringing the brand to Ireland is part of Applegreen’s broader €1 billion expansion strategy, which will unfold over the coming five years, reports Breaking News.

The company aims to expand its footprint in Ireland, the UK, and the US by upgrading existing properties and launching new locations in all three regions.

“We are really excited to announce this partnership to launch the iconic Taco Bell brand in Ireland,” said Seamus Stapleton, Managing Director of Applegreen’s Republic of Ireland business, reports Breaking News.

“This partnership underscores our commitment to bringing world-class roadside hospitality to our customers, offering them greater choice and quality while they travel. We are constantly investing in our locations, and I’m sure Irish consumers will be very excited at the arrival of Taco Bell,” reports Breaking News.

Applegreen began with its first service station in Ballyfermot, Dublin, in 1992 and now runs nearly 200 sites across the Irish market.
