Social media has been awash with commentary about how disgraceful the Irish government are to allow over 3,000 Irish kids remain homeless as they return to schools to start the new academic year ahead.
In yet another sad indictment of the unelected coalition Government, over 3,000 homeless children are due back in school across Ireland today.
Homelessness remains rampant in a ‘developed’ country such as Ireland, with successive Governments doing next to nothing to resolve the issue.
As of Friday, 10,568 are officially listed as homeless, though the true figure is probably far higher.
