“The Great Reopening” – Rumours circulate online that many Irish business owners are going to reopen on January 30th despite lockdown

It’s fair to say that literally everyone is fed up with the rules, regulations, restrictions and lockdowns at this stage, but how far will people actually go other than complain about it?

Well, it appears as though there’s going to be somewhat of a fightback in relation to how people are coping and dealing with their businesses being closed on and off for close to a year.

There’s been major rumours, groups and forums setup online over the past number of weeks called a “great reopening” project which is aimed at Irish business owners joining other business owners around the world and opening up on January 30th regardless of restrictions and lockdown measures.

It’s not yet known how many business owners are considering doing this, or whether any will at all, but it has garnered interest and debate online with some people claiming that they are going to reopen on January 30th regardless of the consequences.
