The Health Service Executive is claiming that the recent measles outbreak is a result of poor vaccine uptake. RTE reports that the HSE say fewer people have gotten the vaccine recently.

There is a major fightback against vaccinations full stop in Ireland with many campaigners claiming that the measles and HPV vaccine are dangerous and can have severe detrimental effects on a person’s health.

This comes on the back of measles cases continuing to increase across the European continent, according to a medical report just published.

Forty-one thousand cases have been reported across Europe during the first six months of 2018, which is almost double the entire amount of cases detected during the previous year.

Poor immunization regimes has been named as a key factor in the rapid increase of infections.

Since July this year, a total of 13 cases of the infectious disease have been reported, with both adults and children affected.
