Just 9 people have died directly for a covid vaccine claims UK’s Office for National Statistics whilst other government agency says 72 deaths have been recorded from the AstraZeneca jab alone.
Government statisticians working for the Office for National Statistics (ONS) have announced that just nine people have directly died from receiving covid vaccines.
The Office for National Statistics counted fatalities confirmed by either a doctor or coroner, who have to certify the cause to the ‘best of their knowledge or belief’ reports the Daily Mail.
However, deaths suspected of being one of the contributing causes of death have to undergo lengthy investigations before bing added to the ONS “Deaths by Covid Vaccine” statistics.
The UK’s drugs regulator, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), says there have been 72 deaths from clots after the AstraZeneca jab alone.
Professor Lawrence Young, a virologist from Warwick University, said the ONS’ figure seemed ‘too low, given the information from the MHRA’.
He told MailOnline it ‘highlights the need for more detailed investigation to reconcile these different estimates’.
