It was a very tight race in the end and an interesting show to watch, surprisingly.
The jury vote saw Sweden at the top halfway through. The popular vote from the public then saw votes come out of nowhere.
But in the end, Sweden were pipped to the post by the Netherlands who won the majority in the popular vote.
There was shock and disbelief around the stadium as Sweden’s song was much more “Eurovision-like” than the Netherlands, but alas it wasn’t to be.
