When news broke on Sunday lunchtime that Meghan Markle had delivered a healthy baby, it quickly went viral around the world.
The couple confirmed that the boy weighing 7lbs 3oz was born after Meghan went into labour in the early hours of this morning.
In a brief statement following the announcement of the birth, Prince Harry said that both mother and baby are doing incredibly well, before he thanked the public for their support.
Prince Harry added: “We’re absolutely thrilled.
“It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined.
“How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension.”
However there was no name and not even a picture of the new Royal baby to be seen. That’s meant to change today, at the latest tomorrow, when the proud parents will show the little baby boy to the public for the first time and announce his name while they’re at it.
