The new schooling: Primary pupils might only attend classroom once a week and secondary pupils twice a week if social distancing rules remain by the start of the new academic year

The Department of Education has said today that primary pupils might only attend the classroom once a week and secondary pupils twice a week, if social distancing rules remain by the start of the new academic year.

The rest of the time, pupils will do ‘blended learning’ from home.

A spokesperson for the department also confirmed that there probably wouldn’t be a return to full lockdown, even if Covid-19 strikes again in the autumn as predicted.
