There are reports this morning that Conor McGregor will fight lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos at UGC 197 in Las Vegas on March 5th.
If it goes ahead, it will be the second champion-versus-champion fight in UFC history, as McGregor moves up from featherweight to contest for the 155-pound title when he faces dos Anjos.
The fight will take place less than 4 months after McGregor’s quick and famous knock-out victory against Jose Aldo. The Notorious only needed 13 seconds to defeat his opponent back in December.
