In just one week, the number of Irish people in intensive cre across the country has more than doubled standing at 169 as on Tuesday morning.
Last week there were just 84 people in intensive care with Dublin seeing some 2,692 cases, or 55% of the entire country’s cases, while Cork has 7% with 362 cases.
Today’s figures will be released by the HSE later this evening.
