In the year ending in April 2023, there was a rise of more than 31% in the number of immigrants entering Ireland, reports Breaking News.
In that period, 141,600 people landed here, as opposed to 107,800 in 2022.
It’s one of the numerous conclusions in the Year in Numbers report from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
Also, the number of individuals departing Ireland increased to 64,000 from little over 56,000, reports Breaking News.
