RTE have released their 2020/2021 figures for salaries for their top earners… and it’s the stuff of lotto winners.
Telephone numbers rather than salaries seem to be the order of the day for presenters who no doubt would be paid far less in the UK or America.
Top of the list is Ryan Tubridy on €466,000.
He’s followed by Joe Duffy takes those calls on a daily basis for a staggering €351,000 per year while Ray D’Arcy is on the radio for €305,000.
Claire Byrne can afford plenty of holidays when she’s off as she got a whopping €282,000!
Meanwhile Miriam O’Callaghan is €263,000.
