The Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) has become a lifeline for tens of thousands of people who lost their job due to Covid-19.
The payment, originally worth €350 a week, was reduced in recent weeks, and is due to be reduced again by January 2021.
Meanwhile, TD’s wages recently went up by 2%, to a total of 98,000, excluding expenses and other perks.
