The Minister of State at the Department of Education & Skills John Halligan says he’ll pay the €7,500 compensation to a lady who he interviewed to be his private secretary.
Disgracefully, Halligan is said to have asked the civil servant was she married, had she children and further more what age were her children.
The comments have been met with absolute outrage with Halligan being called ‘sexist’ and ‘utterly disgraceful’.
Many people have now called for Halligan to be fired from his job, with Labour leader Brendan Howlin practically demanding he get the door today in the Dail.
